The military has historically relied on a single formula to attract new recruits: high-octane, adrenaline-charged advertising. But that approach isn’t working with today’s media-savvy teens — only 12 percent of teens believe they have anything in common with service members.

Our strategy was to create content that connects with teens on an emotional level.
